Introducing IQdoc

What IQdoc is, why it exists, and where the two doors on the home page lead.

IQdoc is applied AI for legal. We build the engine behind tools that turn raw records, hearing audio, and rough drafts into documents clean enough to file.

This site is deliberately small: one page, two doors. This post explains what sits behind them.

The two doors

Court Transcript Platform takes hearing audio or an existing document and walks it to a filing-ready court transcript: speakers mapped, pages numbered, captions and indexes in place, reviewed page by page in filing format. It is built for attorneys, court reporters, and people representing themselves.

Legal Transcription is audio transcription for sensitive, high-stakes legal work: depositions, hearings, and more. It is trained and error checked specifically for the legal industry, and in our benchmarks it produces fewer errors than general purpose transcription tools.

Both run on the same engine. The difference is the door you walk through.

What we will not do

Two commitments carry across everything IQdoc ships:

  • Software never certifies. Certification pages are generated, but the attestation and signature belong to the human professional alone.
  • Nothing we publish is legal advice. If you need legal advice, talk to a lawyer licensed in your jurisdiction.

What to expect here

Notes on how we build, what we learn about legal documents along the way, and the occasional appearance from Penny, our origami owl. Posts will be infrequent and short. When we have nothing to say, we will say nothing.
